ORC Engines

Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) Engines produce fuel-free, emission-free electricity from low grade waste heat.

What is it?

With an ORC, waste heat is recovered and converted to mechanical energy by using an organic working fluid that has a boiling point less than that of water. This mechanical energy is then used to produce electricity.

This technology recovers heat from CHP units, flare gas, large compressor stations, sawmills, manufacturing, industrial facilities, data centres and more.
